item is a framed glass poster, sold for $75, shipping was listed at $22;

UPS charge for packing and shipping fragile artworks was $85 - so

i just gave away the item for free

That painting had USPS shipping listed.

It's not cheap when you pay someone else to pack it for you.

If you are going to pay for packing services, you need to add that as a handling charge to increase the shipping.

You have another framed item listed - if that needs the same service, you should adjust the shipping while you can.
