I'm using google chrome and the website.. I'm able to search listings and pages populate fine. when i am on a listing and go to click on anything (buy now, shipping info, item description, etc) i get an error message telling me the site can't be reached and to either check for typos and misspelled words in the web address.
i notice i am able to use the classic site just fine, but i would prefer to use the mobil site, as always. I've been on the phone for days with eBay, nobody knows anything. the all day phone call to Verizon working on settings was also no help. i feel as though I've tried everything i know how to do and have exhausted all ideas, including this one. hoping someone here's can help. thanks!

When you say you can use the classic site just fine, do you mean the classic site on your mobile device?
Aside from mobile and classic site modes in a mobile browser, there is also a desktop site mode which can be chosen in the three-dot menu in most browsers. Having done so, as long as you open links in the same browser tab, those pages should stay in desktop mode. Desktop mode can be helpful in cases where mobile and classic mode are unstable or when certain links will not open in mobile mode.
Try another browser to rule out browser issues. Try each mode in each browser. Or try using the eBay app.
Is it possible you have an old version of the eBay app installed on your mobile device? If so, and if it is set to open eBay links in the app, that might cause you to get an odd error message when attempting to open eBay browser links.
You can try updating to the latest version of the eBay app to see if that solves the issue for you, or you can disable the feature that causes eBay browser links to open in the app.
If you have an iOS device, tapping and holding an eBay browser link should give you some options about how such links are treated -- choose "do not open in the app" or the nearest equivalent option.
If you have an Android device, go to your device settings. Settings: Apps: eBay: Opens supported links: Open by default and choose "do not open in the app".
Then browser links should open in the browser rather than the eBay app. If the app was causing problems for you, that may help.
