I got a notice from eBay that they had to cancel bids from a buyer for an item I sold. Only problem is that:
1) This item wasn't up for auction. There were no bids. It was Buy It Now.
2) Item sold a month ago, at end of June. I was paid and item was delivered to buyer on July 1.
3) This isn't a spoof email-everything in email is legit including transaction numbers and buyer, who was a regular buyer, is no longer on eBay.
Not sure how to handle. Not even sure what eBay wants. When I try to contact eBay I get fed through to automated assistant who is totally useless. I have no idea if eBay plans to cancel the sale, take the money out of my account or if this is just some weird kind of warning that I don't need. Any ideas? BJ
