What if after item is shipped, I found the package was under weight and short postage?

If caught by the post office, either USPS will back charge you through ebay, or the buyer will get a postage due notice before delivery, which you will have to send the funds to cover, if you don't want to pay for the difference when returned and then the cost of reshipping the package.

In the future, you can always change the weight and dimensions of the package before you purchase the shipping label.
