shipping items too large or bulky for usps or fedex

How to ship items too large or bulky for USPS or Fedex.  I have a Saliboat mast that is 16 feet long and 4 inch diameter. It only weighs about 30 Pounds, maybe just a bit less.  How can I ship this item?

I would try offering it as local pick up only.

If you really want to offer shipping, it would have to be by freight.  Contact local freight shippers in your area for info on how to do this for a single shipment.

The folks at the place where you store your boat may be able to offer some suggestions.
