setting an end date

I have not sold on ebay for about 5 years and I just listed an item.  No where did it say when the ending date would be.  Am I missing something or does it stay listed until I remove it.  Sounds like that would involve more fees.  Thanks for any help you can give.

For several years now all fixed-price listings have been "Good 'Til Cancelled" where they autorenew every month until some action ends the listing (e.g. someone buys it, seller manually ends it), incurring insertion fees (or counting towards your basic insertion fee monthly allowance) each autorenewal.  If you don't want a listing to renew you need to manually end it (should be a link in your list of active listings e.g. in your Seller Hub) before the autorenewal occurs.
