send mail from inbox to seller gives error "Send message failed. Please try again".

The seller is still active on e-bay.

Questions

How is that possible?

Can a seller block mailaddress?

In which other way to contact the seller

Are you responding via email to a copy of the message you received there, or are you trying to respond directly on eBay?  Either way should work, it just might affect any troubleshooting we can do.

You would not, to my knowledge, receive that message if the seller had blocked you.  From testing that was done by sellers here on the boards, if a seller has blocked you on eBay, they will not see any messages you send them, but on your end they would appear to send normally without any error message.  You would only see that you were blocked by the seller if you attempted to purchase something from them.

Have you tried messaging them from another device or browser, or if you use the phone app,  using the message system in the app?
