seller question about shipping

my question is: I had an item (a vintage nfl team item) listed under the ebay standard envelope on the listing. This is my most common method of shipping. The item sells and the buyer pays but when I go to buy the shipping label - the 'standard envelope' option is not available. 

Is there a way to get the standard envelope section restored?

It's a 'qualified' item for that type of shipping

If it is the Oilers cling, it was listed under fan apparel - items in this category are not eligible for the standard envelope. Only trading cards, coins and money, and stamps and postcard categories are eligible.

to ebay: My Mistake

But If that's the policy they should enforce that when you list the item - not when it's sold.

It was the shipping option the seller and I both picked, but if it's invalid it shouldn't be an option at the start of the process but not the end.

Now I have 2 bad options for the buyer
