I mysteriously became blocked by A seller that I only had good transaction with previously with no explanation. It must be a mistake but I cant seem to resolve.

A seller does not need to offer an explanation for adding you to his blocked buyer list. You'll have to move on and find a different seller.

The purpose of the Sherman Act is to... preserve the right of freedom of trade. In the absence of any purpose to create or maintain a monopoly, the act does not restrict the long recognized right of a trader or manufacturer engaged in an entirely private business, freely to exercise his own independent discretion as to parties with whom he will deal. but ebay is not private marketplace so it would seem there should need to be a valid legal reason to discriminate.

Ebay didn't block you, the seller did, which they can block any buyer for any/no reason.
What does the message say when you tried to buy?

Is it the same seller that you left a critical neutral feedback for? I can't read minds, but if it is that same seller, maybe s/he thinks you jump to conclusions &/or have unrealistic expectations.

No I only left pos feedback for this seller on all transactions and seller left only pos feedback for me. What do you mean by jump to conclusions &/or have unrealistic expectations? all sellers I have purchased from have provided combined shipping including this one and Again I would be ok if the seller did not want to so why not just say so? It seems a bit draconian to just block me with 100%POS FEEDBACK AND ONLY good transaction experiences between us. It hurts ebays bottom line to capriciously exercise this approach. Again I can only think this is a case of mistaken identity.

Have you had any orders canceled in the last year for not paying?
Sellers can block a buyer if they had 2 orders canceled for not paying.

If you have not had 2 or more unpaid transactions in the past year, then have you purchased an item from this same seller in the past 10 days? Sellers can restrict buyers to 1 purchase per 10 days. That is the default setting unless the seller changes it.

ALL buyers have 100% positive feedback, as they can receive nothing else.
I block buyers who: ask a lot of questions that are very critical, those that leave a lot of negatives/neutrals, have cancelled an order with me, and other reasons. I also have my blocks set automatically to limit the number of transactions per 10 days and those that have 2 or more unpaid items in a year.
These are tools give to sellers by eBay to protect our accounts. We are allowed to use them. You need to move on and find another seller. It isn't personal, it's business.

I have never had any unpaid transactions and on OCT 2 I had 6 purchases with the seller and everything was fine poss feedback all around from both sides. and out of the blue I am blocked? Like I said, I messaged that I was planning to purchase multiple items and would like combined shipping same as was provided for previous purchases. if this was no longer an option why would the seller just block me rather than tell me sorry no combined shipping?

< What do you mean >
I said "maybe". The original posting was scarce of information, not enough provided for informed conclusions, so it left me to guess. I posed a possibility – perhaps not perfect, but a pretty good one, if I do say so myself – based on years of reading others' experiences, that's all.

The message you received when you attempted to purchase something from the seller is the one buyers receive when that seller has specifically placed the buyer’s name on their Blocked Bidders’ List.
[Sellers are allowed to block buyers for any reason … including no reason at all. They aren’t required to reveal the reason to either the buyer or eBay.]
Sellers have very few protections on eBay compared to buyers. One of the very few they have is the ability to block buyers from purchasing from them. Buyers have no recourse when they are blocked by a specific seller.
I’m a buyer only and totally understand the frustration of being blocked without understanding … or even being told … the reason why. But, fortunately, there rarely is only one seller offering a particular product for sale. We usually have multiple choices.
NOTE: If a seller sees that you left another seller bad feedback (without contacting them first) regarding combined shipping … they may block that buyer as a precaution … even though they might not have had any problems with that buyer personally. They also might block a member merely by reading their posts in the Community.

If you have already had 6 transactions, it just might be the limit block. This is a protection so someone doesn't buy 10 items and leave 10 negatives--destroying an account. Maybe check back later??

The message you received when you tried to make a purchase is the one eBay displays when a seller has added you to his blocked buyer list. My advice is to stop conjecturing as to the reason and move on. You can dwell on it or not - it won't change anything.
The seller has chosen not to do business with you. That's his prerogative. You are not going to receive an explanation and even if you did, you wouldn't likely agree with it (which is why sellers don't communicate with blocked buyers - it only leads to heated exchanges.)
You first posted about this on the 13th and it is still occupying your mind after posting several times about it for an hour again today.
No one can tell you what was in the seller's mind and no one can change the situation. At some point, you will have to accept it. For your own peace of mind, it's better for YOU to do it now than spend another minute on it. There is a whole wide world out there.
We want your journey here to be as great as can be, so we have put together some links to help you get quickly familiarized with the eBay Community.
