after my item was paid for my buyer and I have decided to do a local pickup instead of shipping. how can I ensure the eBay system is satisfied with "delivery conformation' without the risk of the buyer claiming it didn't arrive?

The only way to ensure the buyer doesn’t win an ‘Item not received’ dispute is to ship the item with tracking.

Local pickups are best paid for in cash (at the time of pickup) to avoid future problems.
