I think I’ve been scammed I had initiated return and called the number that I thought was EBay that I found on the web, I called it and asked about a return, and was told that I couldn’t get a refund because it was an out of country address, and that I would have to buy $100 in gift cards and give the numbers to them so they could pay with the gift cards and then I would be protected and get my refund and it would all be returned to my account. Here’s the thing the numbers disappeared from the web but when I called back and asked for the status of my account, they said it was processing and would take four days to receive the money. I know I can’t give numbers and this form but I would love for somebody to check it out, and I tried the other customer support number several times with no response, thank you for any suggestions

eBay does not have a public number for you to call. If you found a phone number by searching google, you found a scammer's ad, which is why you were asked to provide gift card numbers. eBay customer service does not ask for gift card numbers, but scammers do.

Or you can use the Help & Contact link at the bottom of the page to request a call back from eBay. Use the "Contact us" link and follow the prompts for your issue and you should eventually wind up on a page with a chat option. Choose that, and the last option that appears in the chat window -- use the "See more" option -- should be "Contact an Agent" to request a call-back if you are in North America.
