save search with no items found?

kindly advise if there’s a way to save a search with a currently unpopulated result. eg, searching for “smokey bear” in trains will turn up many gauge n results, but i’m looking for g size (actually bought one here prior to last summer’s re-org, so i know it exists) and as there are no results, i don’t see how to select that size for a saved search. thanks.

It is possible, but the fact that there are no results makes it difficult to choose the "g" gauge filter.

Try saving this search instead:

https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=smokey+bear+g&_sacat=180250&LH_TitleDesc=0&_blrs=cate...

It is possible to select the "g" gauge filter using different keywords, and then change the keywords to smokey bear, so you can save this search:
