why are we paying tax on shipping? I find this whole tax thing to be inconsistent with state taxation.. eBay needs to refund all taxes they have collected on our shipping.

@campsurf   Ebay is collecting sales tax as required by law.

You can see on this chart which states require sales tax to be collected for NEXUS sales.. the market place facilitator tax laws on shipping may be different.  I think it's a safe bet though that if they charged sales tax on Nexus sales that they will charge sales tax on market place sales
