sale did not go through paypal

I just bought an audio book and clicked on the pay button.  I got an immediate "paid by credit card".  I did not get the go to paypal page to pay for this item.  I cannot find out which credit card this is on.  I got an email response which lacks the information about the credit card.  Is this a legit purchase?
