I can't get to a human at customer service, and i'm afraid that If i escalate and ask ebay to step in that their bot
will just decide in their favor... I've bene with ebay 25 years with 100% pos f/b.
They claim that the item was not the size adv'd. But our ad states approx 11 x 11 x 11 and there are 3 pics in ad
that show the item with a fabric measuring tape to prove the size is 11 x 11 x11. And in their dispute comment they ask for 20$ back to keep the item... they also admit in writting that they are not good with measurements..
In 20-25 yrs on ebay letting a BOT decide means the seller loses 100% of the time.... i've tried every number
and trick to get to a human... Any sugg's?

@masterstringer. I hate to say but even if you contact customer service they are still going to rule in the buyers favor. 😞
If the buyer files a refund request saying that the item is not as described then you need to accept the return and issue the return shipping label.
The eBay Money Back Guarantee overrules your returns policy. Your return policy only applies if the buyer files a buyer's remorse return: Doesn't fit, changed mind, etc.
If you do not accept the return willingly then the buyer can ask eBay to step in and forces a refund. You do not get your seller's fees back, you get a defect and the buyer may be allowed to keep the item.
If the buyer abuses the eBay MBG in some way then you can report them after you get the item back but it doesn't get your money back:

Sellers have protection for return abuse if they offer FREE RETURN shipping on their listings OR if they are a Top Rated seller and offer 30 days or greater returns. The seller can then reduce the refund amount by up to 50% if the buyer sends a different item or somehow reduces the value of the item.

Stop using the No returns accepted setting, you lose flexibility on processing returns and adjusting how much you refund a Buyer when they execute a bogus return. With your longevity you should know that if you try to fight the return eBay will let the Buyer keep the item and then refund them from your account. 25 years and 100% FB means little as you have outlined above.
Many Buyers know the two work around returns for the No returns accepted setting:
-Arrived damaged
-Not as described
When Buyers come here and complain the item they bought was not as described but the Seller does not accept returns the advice they are given is to file the Not as described return forcing the Seller to pay the return shipping and get their refund when the item is returned. Many Buyers already know that.
