I recently won an auction for vintage lead soldiers. The Seller took photos which did not reveal what's referred to as "lead rot" which is damaging to (not only the lead soldier itself) but can spread to other lead lead pieces which are not contaminated. He may have been unaware of this condition, but most of the soldiers are covered with a "milky" rust .
When received, I immediately noticed several pieces with "lead rot" and sent the Seller a request for a return. He sent several messages that his auction did not allow returns. I contacted Ebay and filed a case, with photos.
The Seller has a total of four transactions. In replies to the case, the Seller has been uncooperative and has sent several derogatory remarks in five replies to this case. Ebay will make a final decision on December 22, which I keep reminding the Seller.
I have tried, without success (can't speak to a live person/topics that don't apply/canned responses) and to have Ebay review the messages sent by this Seller. I feel that everything that he lists on Ebay will have the same no return policy and will have arguments with each buyer that has received a defective item or one that will qualify for a return.
How do I contact an Ebay representative to have a review of this Seller in future Ebay transactions? He needs to be reported as a unwilling Seller to work with Buyers that are not (understandably) satisfied with their purchase or with the defective item that was received.
