I sell many like items. Rather than creating a new listing for each new item with a different size or style, I will use the "sell similar" function. This worked well for many, many years. However in the last couple of years, it was brought to my attention that the new listing would retain the full description of the copied listing on the mobile app. This is only happening on the mobile app. If you pull of the listing on a computer browser, the new description shows.
I have brought this to the attention of eBays support team a couple of times but it is still not corrected. This is causing issues as more potential buyers are using the mobile platform in one of two reasons. 1. They are not purchasing because of the conflict between title/item details and full description or 2. They complain about the item not matching the description.
Short of creating a listing from scratch each time (very time consuming), I'm not sure how to go about correcting this issue. It's been on eBay's radar for a couple of years with no resolution. Does anyone else have this same issue, and have you found a resolution.
