Trying to contact seller of item, I click on "contact seller" but the box that appears will not let me type anyhting

I hear you! I answer this question all day long. You are trying to type the message in what appears to be the logical spot, but actually you need to type your message in the teeny-tiny box down at the bottom of the form. When you send the message, what you typed will appear in the big white box.

You can use the link at the bottom of the form to send eBay your feedback. Be specific about what you don't like and what you need. The more members who do this, the better chance eBay will improve the form.
