I recently purchased an item on ebay.  It does not show up in my purchase history.  I want to contact the seller.

If you still have the email confirmation from eBay there should be a link there to the order and to contact the seller.

If it was a Guest purchase (email would say that also) you need to sign out of this ID first before trying to access the Guest Order:

Unfortunately that is my problem...I don't have my confirmation email.  I tried accessing guest purchases.  I sent them the email I used for the order, but have not received an answer.  Will they be emailing me or do I have to go to some message center???  THANK YOU very much for your timely response.

I would assume they will send you an eBay Message, with a copy to your personal email, but I don't know how long that takes.

Your answer was very helpful, but unfortunately it is 5 days later and ebay has not directly responded to my email address.  I do not have the original email, so have no order number or anything.  I still do not know how to contact the seller.  Ebay's answer does not show up under messages, either.

Does your payment source show an eBay Order # - it would be displayed as O*xx-xxxxx-xxxxx

Go to this linked page, left side - click "Have us call you" or "Chat with us" - see if they can help.

They should be able to locate the order from your email address at least - whether it was made as a Guest or not:
