Ebay seems to work well but PayPal has become very difficult to contact. I can not log into my PayPal account because I do not have a mobile phone and they have not made any other method verifying whom it am. I thus can not check on purchases made on eBay on my PayPal account. I have to wait until I get a statement from my bank to see if there is a problem. I have used PayPal for my years but now they have become very difficult to use! does anyone have a suggestion ?

I have several accounts using PayPal and every time they asked me to verify my cell number, I simply closed that screen and opened another PayPal window, thus skipping the request to add a cell. I didn't want to get locked out for not receiving a passcode to a cell I don't have.

At the bottom of this page is a "call us" button.

A popup says "you can always call us as guest."

Clicking that shows a phone number to call.

I dialed the number and was told the (landline) number I called from matches their records, and was then asked for the last four of my SSN. I stopped there. You might be able to reach support in that manner, particularly since you are supposed to be able to call as a guest.
