I've tried to purchase an item today via Paypal, and keep getting the message that Ebay hasn't authorized the
payment. I've tried using different cards for check out - same message. My accounts are in order.
What's going on?

If you are not using a cash balance in PayPal, make sure your linked credit card has not expired on PayPal.
Also check your PayPal account to see if there are any new banking requirements to update.
If nothing there, it may be recent glitch on eBay.

I've updated my cards on Paypal. Ebay won't accept a Visa card I've used for years, the card has a new expiration date.
Payments still aren't authorized. Help!

Are you selecting the PayPal checkout option?
Have you tried using a credit card option on eBay's checkout screen?
Are you purchasing an item from only one seller, or are multiple orders in your checkout?
Is the seller using eBay's Managed Payments (there will be a GPay icon on the listing or on the checkout screen)?

It's a site problem. 😞 After 45 minutes on chat an assistant said the platform's being updated and the problem's being worked on. There will be an announcement later on in messages.
Thanks for the help, shipscript.
