package weighed more than I estimated by 13 ozs

I got my shipping label for an item that I estimated shipping at 3 lbs. after  boxed up. It actually weighs 3 lbs 13 ozs. Will Ebay just charge me for the extra shipping costs??

You should cancel the label and buy a new one.  It might be caught in transit and you’ll be billed for the difference, but it might get to your buyer postage due, which does not make for a happy buyer.

To cancel the label - 

1. Go to Manage shipping labels.
2. Find the item you'd like to cancel the shipping label for, then from the Actions column, select Cancel Label.
3. Choose your reason for canceling the label.
4. Select Send request.
