negative seller feedback

Item 135471690873. Seller jolem_4242. DVD Video and Audio Playback tested. 

Sony RDR-HX780 160Gb HDD Hard Drive DVD Recorder does not work at all. It will turn on and the display and drive indicators light up but the record, play, input and output connections do nothing. I opened it up and found ant nests all over the insides that have shorted out the electronics. Seller said 30 day returns. I asked for return and seller said no. I asked for refund. Seller said no. I then gave seller a negative feedback. After one day the negative feedback was gone and it said 100 % positive. I was never contacted.

Without knowing the exact wording of your negative feedback, we can only guess why it was removed by eBay. Typically it is because it violated the eBay feedback policies. The Seller would have had to request removal.

As far as your return request. Buyers can open a return request for up to 30 days after delivery. The Buyer needs to do that on the eBay site through their Purchase History. Once the Buyer opens that request on eBay and when the Seller accepts the return request, that should generate a prepaid return label. Most Sellers require the Buyer return the item to qualify for a refund.

And finally, eBay does not contact Sellers in advance when they remove negative feedback. I am sorry this all happened to you.

It doesn't seem that should have been removed. If you requested a return or refund after the 30-day window, that may have been why. Or if the listing was for Parts and Not Working. I wish I could be more helpful.

I asked for a return as soon as I got it and found out it did not work. The auction said "DVD Video and Audio Playback tested". There was no video or audio at all. The auction was for a working recorder.
