How can I see and list shipping costs for an item that requires 2 boxes?

It is possible to do this, but it is a bit of a challenge to set the correct shipping.
As you know, the in-listing shipping calculator only works for 1 box. Here is a workaround that may be helpful. Do both steps.
1) Use "buyer pays calculated shipping" and enter the details about the larger/heavier box.
And
2) Use eBay's shipping calculator to estimate shipping for the lighter/smaller box to a far-from-you place.
- Add the shipping amount for the lighter/smaller box to your selling price or in the "handling charge" field.

-- Here is eBay's shipping calculator - it will show the actual shipping cost for all 3 services from your zip to a range of places (and any other zip code you want)
https://www.ebay.com/shp/Calculator
Just pick "Package", enter the weight, dimensions, and your zip code. Then click "Calculate Shipping".
Click the “eBay Rates” radio button to see the cost if you print your label at home.

When you ship your item, here is how to print multiple labels for 1 order:
Enter the weight and dimensions for Box 1 and print the first label,
THEN you can print another label -
1) Go to the order https://www.ebay.com/mys/sold
2) Select View Order Details, then Print Another Label <<==
3) Enter the correct weight and dimensions for your 2nd box and select Shipping Method and the correct label will print.

Thanks for quick and trying to help response. But I hope to get more accurate. [I mean c'mon, it's 2025, eBay] I am looking to ship an item that comes in 2 matching pairs, where each is so heavy and large, that they can not be shipped in 1 box. (And no need to go complications of 'freight'.) I can use my work UPS or USPS to get costs, looking at nearest and guessing farthest/most costly (islands off coast ...?) and multiplying by 2 and adding, as you say to price. But that is clunky. And it, as you know, adds more time for each item i put up, rather than a software update in eBay that makes such calculations available to all sellers.

It would be nice if eBay had a 2 box calculation, but they don't yet.
