mailing address changed to Hong Kong

I sold a clock and mailed it to the address provided by the buyer, which was in Illinois.  Now the buyer tells me he lives in Hong Kong.  Per the tracking information, the item has been delivered to an individual in Illinois.  So the person in Hong Kong is saying they didn't get it.  any thoughts on what to do next?

You shipped through eBay International Shipping, so your package went to eBay's shipping hub where it is processed and forwarded along to the buyer with a new tracking #.
