late return

Never had this happen as a buyer but they bought an item well over 30 days ago and I mean by that they received the item at their door about 45 days ago, now try to get money back return, I denied since its way over the 30 return policy I have, ebay told me the case is closed.    What can the buyer do now to try and cause trouble?  They are clearly trying to send something back that they changed their mind on
