item specific requirements for postcards

Does anyone else out there selling postcards want some clarification as to the meanings of some of the specific items now required for listings? For example, what is the difference between subject and theme? Wouldn't it be nice for eBay to provide at least an article as a guide for filling out these item specifics now? If we have to use them, it would be nice if everyone was using them the same way.  Just asking. . .

Generally, when you start a listing and select an item specific (Subject or Theme), there will be a droplist of selections from which to choose.  That is the best way to determine what kind of answer is expected.

In Seller Hub > Reports > Uploads, there is the ability to download a template for category item specifics.  The XLS version of that report is an excellent resource to have on your desktop so that you don't have to parse through the listing form.

Additionally, in Seller Hub Active Listings, you may have a recommendations report in XLS format that has the same spreadsheet with droplists.  The benefit of this particular spreadsheet is that you can edit your listings in bulk in the spreadsheet  and then export and upload a CSV file back to eBay on the  Seller Hub > Reports > Uploads page.
