is paid shipping really a seller cost?

included in my selling cost is the cost of shipping.

if a buyer pays shipping, how is that considered my selling cost?

money in money out should be no cost to me!

Buyer pays you the shipping cost you put in the listing.  You the seller pays the actual postage amount, whether more or less than what you had the buyer pay.
