What card? To whom did you give out the numbers? Did this involve an off-eBay transaction?

If you sent a copy of the back of the ebay gift card, it shows the card number at the bottom.  If you also send the 4 digits under the scratch off, then the recipient has the complete card number and can then wipe all the entire amount.

ebay gift cards are only to be used in ebay Checkout to pay for an ebay purchase.

You are communicating with a scammer if that person requested ebay gift cards in order to purchase an item off another web site.
