how to ship first class letter

I sold 2 stickers and want to send them in a letter envelope for 58 cents first class postage. eBay let me choose letter as an option with calculated shipping but now the option is First class package which is $3+. Why does the calculator and the shipping information page state that you can send letter if you can't?  I assume I will need to cancel my order as I am not going to pay over $3 + fees to ship a $5 item.

You just put stamps on an envelope and hand write the buyer's name and address, and your return address.

You can ship via letter post, you jut can't print a shipping label for that service.
