how to return an item when there is no box to return it in

I got a large stuffed standing disney toy. It was shipped to me in a dollar store type plastic bag. It arrived destroyed because it was not packed correctly. I need to send it back no carrier will except it in a bag where I live, I am handicap and don't drive so I can't go buy a box. And if I get a box delivered its going to cost me over $17 What should I do?

I would ask customer service for assistance - I doubt that they will expect you to spend $17 on a box.
