how do you remove items saved from the dropdown menu of the home page

Do you mean the Recent Searches/Saved Searches/Saved Sellers in the search bar?

The "X" to delete individual searches does not work reliably, but you should be able to delete your recent searches by going to your Recently Viewed page and using the "Clear all" link.

Saved Searches and Saved Sellers can be deleted on each of those pages.

I misspoke, it's the "add to list" tab. I have redundant add to's that I'd like to remove. Thanks for the advice.

What page are you looking at?

"Home page" is user selectable, so that does not narrow it down.

Do you mean your other lists aside from your Watch List? Those lists can be deleted from each individual list page.

I'm having trouble explaining this, so I'll try again.

When I go to an eBay auction, there is a drop down "add to list" tab on the top of the page and that item can be "watched". I have added several of the same titles to this list and I'd like to remove those extra titles. Help!

If you want to delete one of your lists -- which is the only way to remove it from the "Add to list" dropdown menu in a listing -- then you need to go to the individual list page itself and use the "delete list" link in the upper right. Note that your Watch List has no such link and cannot be deleted.

You can reach any of your lists through the Watch List page, or by adding an item to the list, and then following the link to the list that appears at the top of the item page in the blue band.
