how do I create an invoice?

A buyer sent me an offer....I didnot accept but countered.  They agreed but asked for an invoice to pay.  How do I create that?

After they accept the offer, go to your waiting for payment page and select send invoice.  They really don't need an invoice, unless they want one for their records - eBay sends them a link for payment when you accept the offer.

Be wary--if they did not actually accept the counteroffer through the eBay offer process but sent a message giving you an email address or phone number to message the "invoice" to that is very likely part of a scam to send you a fake payment message back to your email address or phone number (which they get with the "invoice" message you sent them).  AND it's very very much against eBay rules for them to ask and for you to do so.

Even if they have accepted and you simply use eBay's invoice system, it can extend the time for them to pay as the 4 days to pay starts over when the seller sends at least some invoices.

Thanks but in the end I revised item switched to best offer and she was able to buy.  I try to be careful,znd I always follow Ebay rules.  Thanks again
