how do I change the tracking number for an item I have sold

How do I change the tracking number on an item that I have sold. (The EBAY label I printed was not accepted, So I had to ship on my own and now have a new tracking number).

First void the label, if it was usps -

1. Go to Manage shipping labels - opens in new window or tab.
2. Find the item you'd like to void the shipping label for, then from the Actions column, select More Actions, and then select Void.
3. Choose your reason for voiding the label. If you want to, you can add a message for the buyer.
4. Select Void shipping label.

Then go to your sold items and select add/edit tracking and enter the new tracking #.
