I purchased a "diamond" ring around Nov, 2020. It was advertised as a synthetic diamond. A synthetic diamond is a lab created diamond that is chemically identical to a natural diamond, only more perfect.

Today, I took the ring to a Jared jeweler, who tested it, and found the gem NOT a diamond of any kind! The seller ad was fraudulent! I have their email address, Ebay ID, from a few messages we exchanged during the transaction.

What are my recourses?

How can I access the original purchase receipt on Ebay?

I'm very sorry this happened!

There isn't any help you can get from eBay or your payment processor at this point - it's way too late. Your only recourse would be small claims court.

Your purchase receipts are available in your Purchase History for the current and two previous years. If you've saved the email copy of your purchase confirmation, you should be able to use that.
