fraud from calling ebay support number

i called your support number 855-232-9897 asking to talk to someone about my payout and this guy said he'd give me a refund but that i had to down load another app so he could and because i called your support team i listen to him which gave him a way into my phone and by time i was  done talking to him he done stole money out of my cash app and my bank he took $427.00 from me .I did report to cash app and my bank and I was looking at your site last night and it has the same support number on your site .I've reported this to Reportfraud.ftc.gov now my only hope get my money back is thru Wells Fargo even though he did it through my cash app and cash app wont help because they dont care who this guy hurts and if he done it to me he has done it to other people.Now cash app knows who he is because to have a cash tag you have to give up who you are.I talked to the guy from your support number at 5:25 pm on wednesday and he kept me on phone for hour or so until he finally hung up on me close to 7:00 pm and at that time all cash I had in my bank and cash app was gone you can see evidence that i talk to him from your number at same time my cash was being taken .I wanted to report this because I'm sure the guy still works for you and he needs to pay for what he done for me

eBay does not have a public phone number for you to call. You likely searched online and found an ad put up by a scammer. The scammer does not work for eBay.

Uninstall whatever remote access software the scammer had you install, then scan your computer to make sure it is secure.
