Is there an option anywhere on your site (I have been here for many years) for exact matches? Whatever eBay changed in the search engine, it now pulls up items not even close to the exact part number or item  I am searching for.

IE: I enter ABC-123 of a washing machine part number, and eBay pulls up  Power Rangers toys and swing sets.

I did not enter Power Rangers Toys or Swingsets, I entered a washer part number ABC-123. Very frustrating.

To avoid any keyword substitutions or corrections, put your keyword in quotes when searching:

"abc-123"

That should force eBay to find only literal matches of your search term.

Keep in mind that eBay's search does not distinguish between most punctuation characters, so that search will also match abc*123, abc.123 and abc_123 as well.

If your part number is used in more than one kind of item, your search will find all instances of that part number in the title or item-specifics, so you may want to include additional keywords to filter out unrelated listings that include the same part number, or else limit your results to a single relevant category.
