I saw an item on AMAZON I wanted to buy so they referred me to ebay to buy. I completed the proper information and paid by credit card. When I got my confirmation document from ebay it was all in Chinese characters. Did ebay send my credit care to the Chinese? Will I ever get the item I ordered? Will I get a refund of $40.88? Could I phone a customer representative with out using the automated telephone options? I'll never order from ebay again.

@johep_7626 When you shop on eBay you should find the items ON eBay and not be redirected from another site. eBay has NOTHING to do with sales on other sites.
Does the item show in your purchase history here: https://www.ebay.com/mye/myebay/purchase
If you actually checked out using eBay then the seller never saw any of your personal information. If the "amazon seller" redirected you to a fake page and the item is NOT in your eBay purchase history then you should report this fraud to your credit card company.
This is how you can contact eBay customer service:
1. Select the live chat or call back option on the left hand side of this page:
https://www.ebay.com/help/contact_us?id=4191&st=10
If you are using a cell phone turn off the spam filter or it may block the call back
If you are located outside of the US or Canada then you will need to use chat or social media.
2. Or you can also contact customer service by sending a private message on social media. You leave a message and an eBay employee will get back to you as soon as possible. To speed things up you can leave your registered account information in the PRIVATE message: Full name, address, phone number, email address, user ID, and a brief explanation of your problem.

Ebay has nothing to do with Amazon. So this doesn't sound good.
Are you sure you were on the real ebay website when you purchased and paid?
Did you use the ebay checkout?
What was the Item Number?
