Got caught in an eBay gift card scam.  ebay says 'not our problem".   Next steps?

Gift cards are nonrefundable and nontraceable.  That is why scammers ask for them.

Your next step is to report the scam to the website you found the listing on.  Facebook Marketplace?  That seems to be the popular one to use nowadays.

You can report it to the Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3), (FBI).  It probably won't get your money back, but it is always worth a shot.
