ebay adding "Best Offer" to my listing without my permission

How do I get eBay to leave MY listings alone? They changed MY listing to accept best offers and decided to autimatically decline offers that are 50% of my asking price. Gee, 50%??? I would lose money after paying ebay and paypal fees, free shipping and the cost of the item. But why should ebay care if i lose money as long as they get their commission? After they changed my listing, they messaged me to say that if I don't want it, I can change it.  Wow, if I wanted it, it would have been in my listing.

It is annoying enough to receive the suggestions to accept ""Best Offer", since I clearly know this is an option and did not choose it.

Is it legal for them to go into my listing and change it to accept "Best Offers" and then message me to say if I don't want it I should change it?

Sorry for the very angy tone but I feel that eBay does whatever they want with no consideration to their customer, THE SELLER.
