eBay’s protection of fraudulent sellers.

It’s simply amazing to me the extent that eBay will go to in protecting the rights of unscrupulous sellers. The other day, I purchased an item from a seller based in China who advertised Bose EarPods at a much reduced price. I checked the seller’s feedback and didn’t see any complaints. But after conducting further research regarding other similarly located sellers it was 100% clear that there were known sellers on eBay advertising these types items that had been discovered to be counterfeit but received no punishment by eBay and were allowed to continue their scam, and this seller was obviously engaging in the exact same conduct. That said, eBay provides no way for the buyer to report such activity, or receive a refund until the they have received the counterfeit garbage and paid to have it returned. And of course this means waiting for as much as a month for the item to arrive. This is totally absurd when a refund should be made available immediately upon the discovery of the fraudulent activity.  Also, the seller’s account should be disabled immediately, but it is not and therefore, they are allowed to continue to defraud eBay buyers.

I find it best to never buy from China.
