I received a negative feedback after receiving an email that a figurine had been received and it was broken. I asked for the buyer to send pictures so I could put in the postal claim. She was furious and said she had found glue on it and it wasn’t in mint condition, I didn’t understand why she was saying this, but I said OK I am going to send you a full refund, but would you still send the pictures because you received it broken. She then opened a not as described and said she could not work with me even though she had tried. What??? and immediately left me a negative feedback. I gave her a full refund, including her shipping and let her keep the item, and contacted eBay and ask them to remove the negative feedback after I had already asked her to do the same, but she chose to ignore me. eBay denied the Removal and said her feedback shows that is how she felt about the transaction. I do not understand this logic in any way whatsoever. I then have asked these two questions in a reply to them, but only continue to get a form letter saying the Removal is denied and how happy I should be that I have all these positive feedback. Here are my two questions. Could anyone here answer them, please? This is what I have sent twice and just get a form letter.

"I find it strange that the buyer can express how she feels, but I and you have NO right to express how you feel. " It is because this is a business transaction and NOT a personal transaction. It simply doesn't look good for a business to publicly shame customers, which is exactly why other sites like Ebay don't allow it either.
I know it is frustrating. I feel your pain.
IDK where you asked your questions previously or how long you waited for an answer, but we are volunteers and we can't be around 24/7/365.
1. If there was an INAD opened by the buyer, then yes, the feedback is removable.
2. One of the benefits/perks of being a TRS is that buyers can't leave a negative feedback in less than 7 days from the purchase. They can on day 8, but not before. This is from PURCHASE, NOT receiving.
OH I know that stings.
While I don't think you had an INAD opened as clearly the buyer just wanted to berate you and not return the item. Likely a bully tactic to get you to do what you did, refund them and they get to keep the item.
You did the right thing by refunding them in full. So please know that. If I were in your position, even though the feedback policy doesn't specifically cover this, I would contact Ebay and try to get it removed. But do NOT contact them until you are calm enough to keep your emotions out of the conversation and just talke about the facts. While I respect your emotions and know they are very important, they simply aren't to Ebay. Be gentle with them and just give them the facts. Remember you want them to want to work for you, that is the best way to get them to do what you want them to do, which is to remove this feedback.
However, BEFORE you contact Ebay, take a look at the Buyers Feedback Left For Others. Some strong evidence in your favor would be if this buyer has a history of leaving negative and neutral feedback for similar reasons. If you do see something, would you mind coming back here and share your findings as well.

On each Ebay page there is a link to contact Customer Service at the top of the page and again at the bottom of the page.
I would suggest that you contact Ebay for Business on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter for the better trained CSRs.
Here are your options for contacting Ebay Customer Service. Please be aware that for social media CS, you send them a Private Message and briefly explain what your problem or issue is. Feel free to leave your Name, address, phone number and/or your email address in this message. It is private and secure and it may help to speed up the response for you.
https://twitter.com/askebay
https://www.facebook.com/ebay
https://www.instagram.com/ebayforsellers/
Your options will be on the left. If you use the link below you can only get to the Automated Assistant or Chat box type AGENT in the box and hit enter. You will then get more options. Not all options are available 24/7. It will depend on staffing available. So sometimes you can request a call back and sometimes you can't. Sometimes you have the Chat option available and other times it won't me. If it is important to you to use one of those options, just try back later.
If you use a cell phone or other mobile device, you may need to turn off your Spam filter so that Ebay can call you.
If you are a seller outside of the US or Canada, you will need to use the Chat Option.

Using the Chat is not likely the best way to get your issue resolved. I don't know if the Chat Bot even claims it can connect you with the department you want. As I stated in my other post, Contacting Ebay on Facebook with the information I suggested to you is likely your best option.
As I tried to explain to you, on the surface your feedback does not qualify to be removed because there wasn't an INAD opened by the buyer. But it was worth a try to talk with Facebook CSRs and see if they can help.

It has been a few days and you haven't responded to the information offered to help you with the things you addressed above. You were pretty harsh on your opinion of Mentors since it took awhile for one to respond to your concerns. You have now received that. Did it help? Do you have any further questions?

This information I was given is incorrect.
One number one a INAD was opened by the buyer, and the feedback was not removed with a full refund including shipping and allowing the buyer to keep item. I have stated my case by email 5 times, and have been sent a form letter 5 times that this buyer has the right to express how they feel about the transaction, and the negative will not be removed. I have explained that she has a full refund, is keeping the item and I have requested a revision of the negative which is just being ignored.
I am a top rated seller and no benefit or perk for me, she left a negative feedback within hours of receiving her item. So that information is also out of date or incorrect. She bought it and 5 days days later received it. I know the date is 7 days from the time it is received, because this has happened to me when I wanted to leave a neutral, but even if it is7 days from the time she purchased. She still had 2 days to go to reach the 7 day time period.
You can no longer talk to a human bout negative removal, just form letters are sent. I have talked to two agents by calling about other things, and then saying by the way..., and telling my problem with the negative. The first agent told me she would also send a request for removal and that it would be removed. I asked her what do I do if it is not, She told me nothing to worry about she has been with eBay for several years. It would be removed. Three days later, I got another denied removal form letter email, once again the buyer has the write to express herself. I called again spoke to a man then a supervisor. The supervisor said we could get around this by reporting this buyer, he walked me through what buttons to push and what to say in the 2000 word allowance. That was three days ago, nothing has changed.
I believe eBay has changed their policy on this. I even read to go through Facebook, so I did. I was just directed back to the Help and Contact page. If you would like to check with your sources perhaps they know everything has changed, and just another knife in the back of sellers has been plunged. If you have any other suggestions, I am all ears. Thank you for at least replying.

I know you got bad information. I've told you that in both my post here and the one I posted on that other thread. Both of the first two points you state, I told you about before. So it isn't news unless you didn't read the responses I posted in an effort to help you.
I also gave you all the ways in which you can contact Ebay.
OK we aren't getting anywhere and I'm sure you don't want to hear me repeat stuff for the third time. I sincerely hope things work out for you.

I was hoping you may have some eBay contacts that could let you know if things have changed, for instance. I had a negative removed last year. I was allowed to speak to an agent, but this is no longer allowed without telling the automated chat something besides negative removal. When you do tell the truth, the only option is to email. Hoping you could share this with some supervisor. If things have changed, I can accept it, I can then make an informed decision about what I will or will not sell on eBay. Thank you for checking with your fellow mentors. I do appreciate your time.

But twice now I've given you all the ways to contact Ebay. One of those links allowed for you to ask for a CALL BACK. But it seems you would rather assume that things are not possible instead of keeping an open mind and read through the information already provided you.
As I said before, you still keep complaining about the same things that I addressed for you in my posts to you but you simply don't acknowledge them. I can't do anything about that if you don't want to read the information provided.

The OP doesn't seem to want to consider information already given them. I think they are looking for one of us to simply resolve their issue / issues, which of course we can't.

Jacbar... This did help me find the answer. Look at the very last reason for feedback removal.
Everything applies to me EXCEPT, I had a no return policy on the piece that was sold and that I received a negative on. Ahhhh.... another little rule to force sellers to accept and pay shipping both ways for a return. You know that policy that makes sellers so happy. (Sure you can return it and I am happy to pay $40 for shipping both ways because you don't like it, one person said the large platter didn't fit in his china cabinet after using for 12 days during the holiday season.) I had had enough of them and changed my policy to no returns. So it has turned around and bitten me. So for you mentors out there suggest that the person receiving the negative even though they have over 4000 positive feedback, and let the person keep the item and paid the buyer both the shipping and the price of the item, if you have a no return policy, then they are NOT going to remove the negative, no matter what. Now it seems that eBay would have the respect for sellers just to tell the truth. It would have certainly helped with saving time and effort trying to get this removed. A simple note, all sent through email, so they don't need to hear 5 minutes of how stupid this policy is as well as unfair. Here would be a great eBay message.
You do not have a return policy on this item, you are not going to get this negative removed because of this. We want you to have a return policy and we want you to pay the shipping both ways, so just one more way to push you into it. And remember respect what the buyer has said about you, it is her opinion and YOU are not entitled to an opinion.
Then if this were added, I would know a real human being had read it and had personalized this answer just for me... But a buyer who has only left negative feedback in the last year, IS entitled to say what they please about you as a seller. If you only had that return policy, we could have helped you out. Oh, well, perhaps you will live and learn.
And now I understand even more about why this buyer was throwing such a fit and leaving a negative before I even had a chance to pay her back. She thought she was not going to get her $70 back after she broke it. And that $70 is worth a lot more to her than her dignity. OK, case has been solved!

I think you may be a little too sensitive to be a mentor. Nothing against you, your answers were just outdated. The other person, jacbarcollectibles did guide me to right information. I don't know why but today the negative has been removed. I think it may be from the supervisor who had me go to "report this buyer." I did not get any notification explaining the removal, but that is fine. When you suggest going to all these other apps like Facebook, they now just send you right back to the Contact and Help page. I do appreciate you trying to help anyway.
