eBay payouts

I thought that the buyer paid for the shipping label but in my payout it looks like I’m the one who payed for it. Can someone explain?

The buyer pays you for the shipping in your listing. You then buy the label. 

If you use calculated shipping and enter accurate info, the shipping goes in and out as the same amount, although eBay takes their fees on the total form the buyer.
