eBay Guarantees on 'barcodeable' goods

Dear eBay Community:

I noticed changes to eBay terms and conditions section, Returns & eBay Money Back Guarantee, and eBay Authenticity Guarantee. Items listed as watches on eBay Authenticity Guarantee are addressed first as a protected category, but many watches are designed with sensors and similar technology used in smartphones and digital cameras. How probable is it for eBay to authorize returns on commercial transactions of grey goods, or items identified by barcodes, but exchanged outside of their usual market domain? If there is an area that protects these seller's from damages while transactions are processing?

What does the larger eBay member collective suggest for members that operate 'technical' shops, when is it necessary to provide benefit of the doubt and/or practice community trust?

Thank you for your time.
