duplicate posts I sold? who's first?

I sold an item but it seems it was sold 2x and I only have one. Which is first? It seems like it was the same day.

The only thing you can do is sell to the first buyer.   Message the second buyer and apologize for the mistake and let them know that you will have to cancel the sale as out of stock and issue a refund.  

Cancel is in the drop down menu next to the sold item.

Refunds, even for order cancellations, come out of your available funds not pending or held. If you do not have available funds then eBay charges your back up payment method for selling costs.

Have you entered your backup payment method for selling costs here: https://ppcapp.ebay.com/myppc/wallet/list Select Manage under the method you want to use then select Preferred for selling costs. I use a credit card.

Once you issue the refund and the buyers funds are released from being held or finish processing then the buyers payment is released to you.

Thank you, That helped but one sold at 14:49 and the other at 19:39 but I had to look and double-check different number IDs. I think I canceled it. I didn't notice it at first because the first bidder asked to pick it up so I needed to cancel the shipping. I just sent an invoice for the item, will it register on the item? That it's paid?

@decogirl30  Sorry I can't tell from your message what exactly you did.

For the change to local pick up>

Let the buyer know that in order to not have a ding for no tracking and have proof of delivery for eBay that these are the steps you have to take.

1. Cancel the sale as problem with buyers address

2. Refund the buyer.

3. Relist with Local Pick Up only and they buy again

4. When the buyer comes to pick up the item you enter the code in the eBay app>

For proof of pickup you can:

use the eBay app to scan the QR code the buyer received through email
use the eBay app to manually enter the 6-digit code the buyer received through email
To scan the QR code:

Go to Selling on the eBay App.
Go to the Sold tab.
Select the Arrange Pickup banner.
Tap the Scan to confirm pickup button.
If the buyer doesn't have the QR code available, ask them for the 6-digit code they received through email and manually enter it in the app.
