created a new account in error, deleted old accoungt

I created a new account in error,  while attempting to update the old one.  The old account containing history, saves, feedback and payment information since 1998 was replaced and all information was deleted.  How can I delete this new account and restore the old one

Creating a new account does not delete an old account.  If you deleted it by mistake you can not restore it, but make sure it is really gone by trying to log into it.   What kind of update where you trying to make to it?
