contacting ustomer service

How do I actually contact a LIVING customer service rep as opposed to going around in circles? Their automated, programmed responces are no help in answering questions.

Also, ebays bidding time zone is supposed to be Pacific.

Lastly, while attempting to win a bid on an item, every page has a different "time remaining" until the last 30 minutes available to bid. It should not be so difficult to pend money.

@mikhaial-tari_0    I recommend sticking to one bidding page and refreshing often.

You have to let customer service call you back if you choose that option as they are working from home.

1. Select Chat or Have us Call You on the left hand side of this page:

https://www.ebay.com/help/contact_us?id=4191&st=10

( or it may only say chat with automated assistant, if it does then type AGENT in the small chat box on the lower right)

If you are using a cell phone turn off the spam filter or it may block the call back

2. OR if it's Managed Payments related request a call back from the bottom of this page:

https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/getting-paid/start-getting-paid-ebay?id=4795&st=

Select Contact US then type AGENT in the chat box on the lower right corner.

If you are using a cell phone turn off the spam filter or it may block the call back

( Social media can't help with Managed Payments issues)

If you are located outside of US or Canada then you will need to use the Chat option or Social Media

3. Or you can also contact customer service by sending a private message on social media. You leave a message and an eBay employee will get back to you as soon as possible. To speed things up you can leave your registered account information in the PRIVATE message: Full name, address, phone number, email address, user ID, and a brief explanation of your problem.

Good early morning to you:

Your reply is much appreciated. I have been an ebay customer for years now, have spent a great deal of money (I prefer online shopping because there is a wider variety of goods as opposed to a 'men's hat store', for example).

There are times when a simple question, answered by an agent, is the deciding factor in whether or not I make a costly purchase. Because the 'customer service' links are all designed/programmed to give redimentary suggestions, ebay has lost some of my patronage to venders one can actually and easily communicate with.

Your reply was very thorough, and very much appreciated. I shall look for your site and make a purchase.

Peace,

M. Sharif al-ariq
