@pbed9474 1st make sure the buyer is ok with you coming to their home to drop off.
There are two ways to handle this. The value of the item would determine which method I personally would use. The second option will not have anyway to prove delivery so if the buyer files a refund request for item not received you will lose the case. ( Note... a fellow mentor @mr_lincoln suggested a work around by letting the buyer know you will send a small package with a thank you note to satisfy the proof of tracking)
OPTION 1. The best way to handle this so you have proof of delivery is to cancel the sale as problem with buyers address. Refund the buyer. Relist with LOCAL PICK UP ONLY.
Then the buyer receives QR code or 6 digit code in an email that you enter into the eBay app as proof of delivery. Without this your funds may be held longer and you will not have any proof of delivery.
OPTION 2. The other option is to just refund the buyer the shipping cost from the drop down menu next to the sold item. Reason, shipping adjustment.
Select Mark as Shipped from the down menu next to the item. This will count on your metrics as no tracking uploaded but one or two won't hurt you any.
Void the shipping label if you already purchased one>>
You can void the label within 28 days of purchasing it from the actions drop down menu next to the label on this page>

Then the postal service will refund you in about 3-4 weeks on your all transactions page here>
