changing delivery date

I didn't ask for (nor pay for) one day delivery of my purchase.  The delivery given to me is too late.  How do I pay for and get a one day delivery?

Unless the seller offers that option you generally don't.

You can ask the seller BEFORE you buy or commit to buy, but I'd suspect that would  cause more sellers to block you permanently from ever buying from them than to have them offer it to you (especially at a reasonable price).

Unless you live in a metropolitan area, as well as the seller, and the seller is able to get the package to the carrier before the cutoff time (which is usually around 2pm), you probably are out of luck.

thanks for your reply.  I live in a metro area, but ebay won't pass my message along to seller nor will they provide me with any contact information for me to communicate directly with the seller. Therefore, I don't know if seller is in the same area.  I could even pick up the item myself.
