cannot get an agent on chat,,,why?

@2012purpleroses  There are currently a lot of site issues with shipping so the agents may be busy.  

We can help with most buying and selling issues. What kind of problem are you having?

If you would rather contact customer service here are the two ways to do so. You have to let customer service call you back if you choose that option as they are working from home.

1. You can select the option to have eBay call you or chat from the left hand side of the screen on this linked page:

OR if it's Managed Payments related request a call back from the bottom of this page:

Select contact us and then type agent in the chat box.

If you are using a cell phone turn off the spam filter or it may block the call back

( Social media can't help with Managed Payments issues) 

If you are located outside of US or Canada then you will need to use the Chat option or Social Media

2. Or you can also contact customer service by sending a private message on social media. You leave a message and an eBay employee will get back to you as soon as possible. To speed things up you can leave your registered account information in the PRIVATE message: Full name, address, phone number, email address, user ID, and a brief explanation of your problem.

thank you for your reply. Can you tell more specifically which types of "shipping issues" Ebay is having? Does it have anything to do with "local pick up" being selected at check out? (as that has happened to me lately) I know i did not select "local pick up" option, but it had it selected and i did not find out until a week later after wondering why my item had not arrived yet. Btw, this is the SECOND TIME this has happened. What is the reason ? do you know if others are having this same problem?

@2012purpleroses   The shipping problem is that sellers are not able to print labels.  

Are you using a cellphone to shop?  Sometimes  free local pick up will show on the app as Free Shipping.

Have you contacted the sellers to see if they are offering shipping on the items?   

If they will not help then the next option is to file an item not received refund request 7 days after the date of purchase for local pick up items.    For items with shipping you can not file a refund request until 1 day after the last estimated delivery date.

4 business days after you file the refund request ask eBay to step in and help if the seller has not refunded you.
